Our approach to children's therapy enables our therapists to guide children through engaging activities and provide feedback in a structured and purposeful way. We focus on children's occupations, environmental factors and daily lives to create meaningful therapeutic activities. For younger children, play helps them bring meaning to their world by exploring their natural curiosity, creativity and imagination!
Cardinal Pediatric Therapy offers a state-of-the-art custom-built sensory gym which creates a playful multi-sensory environment providing children of all abilities with the opportunity to learn in a fun, engaging and therapeutic environment.
Our sensory gym incorporates a variety of swings, foam pits, zip lines, monkey bars, rock walls, jump decks, trampolines, seclusion areas and more. Our pediatric therapists incorporate these activities in to therapy to address each child's unique needs, foster independence and build confidence.

Handwriting Programs
Occupational Therapy can provide a fun and engaging approach to helping kids master their handwriting which often leads to improved spelling, grammar and literacy.
Social Skills Groups
Group-based program that allows kids to explore a variety of social and emotional skills in order to communicate effectively, self-regulate and self-advocate.
Kindergarten Readiness
One-on-one sessions to improve skills necessary for a successful transition to Kindergarten. Topics include fine motor development, early childhood math, literacy, speech and emotional regulation.
